Key Risk: The 6-Month Crossover
From around July 2026 onwards, the cancellation penalty exceeds or matches what you've actually paid in. From that point, there's effectively nothing coming back. The only realistic refund window (beyond cooling-off) is early in the 30% period, where you'd only recover instalment payments — not the deposit or the 30% penalty.

Booking & Payment

Currency & Pricing
- Destination Buy Rate locks AUD pricing at time of quotation — protects against exchange rate fluctuations
- International transaction fees are covered by this rate
- Security bonds for certain venues are paid directly by clients upon arrival in Fiji
Suppliers & Changes
- Easy Weddings reviews supplier terms and notifies you of material differences
- Supplier replacement guaranteed up to 7 days before the wedding
- If no suitable replacement available after that, full refund provided
- Package value cannot be reduced more than 25% after confirmation without Easy Weddings' approval
- Additional services must be requested in writing after confirmation
Cancellation Terms
- $500 planning deposit always retained
- 30% penalty at 12+ months, 50% at 6–12 months, 75% at 2–6 months, 100% under 2 months
- Force Majeure allows renegotiation of dates, but Easy Weddings is not liable for additional costs
- No refunds for guest number reductions after final payment date
Liability & Risk — What to Know
- Easy Weddings' liability is limited to planning fees paid ($1,200) — not the full package value
- You indemnify Easy Weddings against third-party claims (except their proven negligence)
- You're responsible for damage caused by yourselves or guests
- Remedy for supplier negligence lies with the supplier, not Easy Weddings — they negotiate on your behalf but aren't liable

- Your information is used solely for booking management

When to Buy
Get insurance on or before April 1, 2026 — the day you sign and pay the deposit. Cover should start from the moment you have money at risk. Policy must be purchased at least 30 days before the wedding (not an issue here).
